History tells us from our Vietnam experience that we can indeed bomb people back into the stoneage;it worked in North Vietnam. If we had the will, which we don't, we could have wiped out the Muslim threat long ago, and Bin Laden's head would be sitting on a pole in front of the 911 memorial. Yes, Bush is a weak stick, but there is no way you lefties would stand for an all out war on Muslim extremists. CNN, the Clinton News Network would have had a field day with that. Bad meets evil? Apparantly the author has never faced the elephant, or he would know that Bush certainly is not bad. Misguided, inept and incompetent perhaps, but not bad. You will know it when you see a bad man.
